This publication was written as an addition chapter to the existing Operational Services handbook and as support material for the forthcoming CITO Environment Course which builds upon the principles of the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme.

Although now included in the Operational Services handbook the Environment chapter is also available as a stand alone publication.
